About

I'm based in Sydney, Australia, and write for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age newspapers every week.

Across almost 20 years of freelance journalism, my writing has been published in magazines, newspapers and online publications globally. In Australia these include the ABC, SBS online, Vogue, Australian Geographic, Jetstar's magazine and dozens more.

Internationally I've been published by CNN Traveller, CNBC, the South China Morning Post and many more.

But journalism is just part of the picture.

I provide well-crafted words for organisations and tailored writing trainings for work teams. Whether you hire me as a writer or communications consultant for a one-off project, a trainer to help you understand how to write professionally in the world of AI, or book one of my new retainer packages, you get my strategic thinking and decades of strategic communications expertise as part of the deal.

Copywriting retainers

Last year I started taking on a number of clients on retainer. Retainer clients get my services at a discounted rate, in exchange for weekly outputs from me. It's an excellent deal, but it's not for everyone.

Let me tell you how it works.

More about me

1

I've been training people to improve their writing skills since 2009. I can help your team through my conventional writing trainings or my new Writing with AI: Good to Great program.

2

Storytelling lead

I often flex my strategic story skills for Wordstruck, where I've recently worked with clients like Woolworths (AU) and Selfridges (UK).

3

Writing with AI coaching

AI is here to stay and if you aren't using it at work, you probably should be. I help professionals using AI to write at work to build strong foundations into the process, so they produce outputs they can stand behind.
